The 24-month-old son of Bowmont Jackpot SRKJ310 was out of a solid Berkley cow with good skin type and great structure.

He tipped the scales at 830 kilograms and recorded impressive estimated breeding values including a birth weight of +3.2, 200-day weight of +53, 400-day weight of +101, 600-day weight of +137 and an IMF at +2.7.

Kelly Angus stud manager Pat Joyce assisted by bidder Ryan Sargeant purchased the bull on behalf of stud principal, Vicky Standish.

“We really liked his pedigree and his conformation was exceptional,” he said.

“He will blend in well in our 600 stud cow operation. His even spread of numbers represents well, a real power bull giving his future calves great frame.”
